Celebrity Masterchef: Archana Gautam's emotional farewell as she gets eliminated; says 'I did the show for my father as people mocked him as bawarchi...'

In the latest episode of Celebrity MasterChef , contestants competed in a high-stakes challenge, ultimately revealing the show's Top 5 finalists . While Tejasswi Prakash and Gaurav Khanna had already secured their spots in the finals, Nikki, Faisu, Rajiv, and Archana faced the Black Apron Challenge, where one of them would be eliminated. The contestants were tasked with replicating Chef Vikas’s signature Egg Matcha cheesecake, making it the toughest challenge of the season so far.

In last night's episode, we saw how Archana Gautam broke down into tears as she could not handle the pressure of making cheesecake. However, both Chefs Vikas Khanna and Ranveer Brar motivated her.

In the recent episode, after tasting the Egg Matcha cheesecake made by all the celebrity contestants and the judges declared their results. They introduced five golden apron and presented to the top 5 finalists. After Gaurav and Tejasswi Prakash, Nikki Tamboli was the third contestant to get the golden apron. Next on the list was Rajiv Adatia and in the bottom two were Archana Gautam and Faisu. The judges announced the results and Faisu aka Faisal Shaikh became the fifth finalist of the Celebrity Masterchef season 1. This marked the end of Archana's journey as a contestant on the show.

Archana got emotional as she had to leave the show after coming close to the finale. Farah Khan kissed Archana's hands and called her the 'jaan' of the show. Farah said, "Archana you have been the life of the show, bhale he jhagda ho, raita faila ho, come what may, I can't imagine how the next entire week is going to be without you. It will look as if life has gone out of the party. Something happened today, tera meltdown hogaya yaa tu ghabra gayi, or it was not your comfort zone, you lacked something today."

Archana shared that whenever she had cheesecake at a restaurant, she was always amazed by how it was baked and how someone could achieve such a smooth texture. She felt relieved that she did her effort but she knows that she is not good at baking.

Ranveer Brar and Farah praised Archana and the former stated that her freewheeling spirit is very inspiring. He said, "Bahot aasan hai kisi ke upar hasna par kisi ke saath hasna bahot mushkil hai. Aap sabke saath hasti ho, aur khud par mazak banakar hasti ho."

An emotional Archana confessed that she was on the show for her father to change other's way of looking at her father. "Aap logon ne logon ki soch badal di, 20 saal se mere papa joonjh rahe the ek word ko leke, mere naana ne itne taane diya, mera daamad toh bawarchi hai. Ab main papa se baat karti hoon, ab koi dikkat toh nahi hai na? Aur Papa kehte hain main bawarchi tha aur hoon. Aaja tujhe accha chicken banake khilati hoon."

Ranveer Brar goes on to say to Archana, "Bawarchi ki beti hone se badi koi khubsurat cheez nahi hai. Gautam ji beti aapki heera hai."

Farah Khan teases Chef Vikas Khanna as he goes silent at Archana's eviction. He lightens up the mood by cracking a joke that Archana would ask for vote if he talks to her. Vikas makes a confession that he has never laughed so much in the history of Masterchef and it has been possible only because of her. He calls her Sherni and asks her to win elections next time. Farah Khan adds that Vikas will have to campaign and vote for her.

Archana bids adieu to the show by hugging all the Top 5 finalists.
