It is reported that now those who pay electricity bills of more than 48 thousand rupees annually can be excluded from the pension scheme.
The Social Justice and Empowerment Department has made preparations to stop the pension of lakhs of pensioners of Rajasthan like single women, elderly and specially abled people.
For this, a proposal has been prepared and sent to the Chief Minister's office. If this proposal is approved, then lakhs of pensioners of Rajasthan can get a shock.
According to the report sent by the department, if a pensioner is paying an electricity bill of Rs 48 thousand or more annually, then his pension can be stopped.
Apart from this, the government has also sought suggestions from the department regarding pensioners who pay an electricity bill of Rs 24 thousand annually.
However, if the minister of the concerned department, Avinash Gehlot, is to be believed, he says that pension is for poor people. At present, we are considering it, suggestions have also been sought from the CMO. We want to add more eligible people to it.
