Delhi University has released a notification for recruitment to a total of 56 Professor and Associate Professor positions. The application process for this recruitment will begin on October 7, 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the official website www.du.ac.in.
This recruitment process includes 35 Associate Professor positions and 21 Professor positions. A total of 56 candidates will be selected.
For the position of Professor, candidates must have a PhD in the relevant subject. Additionally, a minimum of 55% marks in a Master's degree is required. Candidates must have at least 10 years of teaching or research experience. They must also have at least 10 research publications and 120 research points.
For the position of Associate Professor, candidates must have a PhD in a relevant subject. A minimum of 55% marks in a Master's degree is required. They must have at least 8 years of teaching or research experience. Additionally, candidates must have at least 7 research publications and 75 research points as per UGC.
Candidates will be selected based on an interview. Selected candidates will receive a generous salary.
The salary is set at ₹2,000 for General category candidates, ₹1,500 for OBC and EWS, ₹1,000 for SC/ST, and ₹500 for PwBD.

Upload the required documents, such as educational certificates, a photograph, and a signature. After carefully completing all the information, submit the form and take a printout of the application.
