Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): MP Nagar police on Sunday arrested four accused who had abducted a minor and then forced him to strip before they tortured him.
A video of the incident, which took place on March 21, has gone viral on social media a day ago. Police registered an FIR against five persons on the basis of the viral video. One of the accused was already in jail in another case.
Police officials said that Arbaz was angry with the minor as he had gone to meet his rival Nadeem aka Bachha lodged in jail.
Police commissioner Harinarayanchari Mishra had constituted a team for the arrest of the accused who had abducted the minor from a coffee shop near Chetak Bridge in MP Nagar.
The accused stripped and tortured the minor while forcing him to repeat ‘Arbaz bhai hamare baap hain’. The accused made the video viral on social media and issued threats to the victim. Additional DCP Zone-2 Mahaveer Singh Mujalde said following investigations, four accused have been arrested within 24 hours of the registration of the case.
The accused have been identified as Arham aka Azeem (21) of Itkhedi, Shaan aka Amaan Decent (18) of Shahjahanabad, Shanu aka Asim (40) of Aishbagh and Mohd Altaf (23). Their accomplice Arbaz Sheikh (22) of Jehnagirabad is already in jail in another case.
