Mumbai: BSE Limited has announced a Demat Auction for Rolling Settlement DR-638/2025-26. The auction is open to all trading members of the Exchange and will take place on Wednesday, May 28, 2025. Members are invited to submit offers for purchasing securities during the auction session.
The auction process will follow a set schedule on the trading terminals. The offer entry window will be open from 2:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m., followed by the Auction Matching session from 2:45 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. After the auction matching, the delivery statements and reports of accepted offers will be made available from 3:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Finally, money statements and final reports will be issued between 3:35 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.
The Pay-in for the Auction will be held the next day, Thursday, May 29, 2025, at 8:00 a.m. Members and custodians must ensure all securities are transferred on time through depositories.
A key update is that after the implementation of the Uniform Membership structure, trading members can now offer securities in the auction even if they had short-delivered them in the same settlement.
BSE urges all members to enter correct security codes and rates, as no changes will be allowed once offers are placed. Members should also check for any recent corporate actions related to the securities to ensure accurate bidding.
