Morrisons shoppers gearing up for their Easter grocery haul are in for a treat, as the supermarket has new deals on seasonal vegetables. Discounts of up to 89% are available on various items at – an ideal opportunity for those planning a show-stopping roast dinner.
However, there's a catch: these savings are exclusive to More Card holders. Starting today and running until Easter Sunday (April 20), members can get their hands on 1kg of British carrots, 500g of British parsnips, and a whole British swede for a mere 8p each.
Even premium items are part of the deal, with "The Best" potatoes 2kg on offer for a "better than half price" steal at only £1.10. A Which? study found that using a More Card at Morrisons makes a marginal difference, making shopping slightly cheaper than without one, reports .

Last month, Morrisons secured the spot as the fourth most economical supermarket from a list of 203 items. With a More Card, the average cost came to £522.27, while it totalled £534.80 without a loyalty card.
Gareth Lloyd, the supermarket's head of marketing events, said: "With these huge savings, we're making it easier for everyone to enjoy a traditional Easter meal without compromising on quality. These vegetable price cuts are part of Morrisons ongoing commitment to deliver quality and value, particularly during key seasonable moments when food plays an even bigger role within our customers' households."
Carrots have seen a significant price drop of 88%, from 69p for a 1kg bag down to a mere 8p. Similarly, parsnips have been marked down by 89% this week, from 75p to 8p.
A whole swede is now 87% cheaper than usual this week, costing only 80p instead of the regular 62p. "The Best" potatoes have also been reduced from £2.30 to £1.10, offering a saving of 52%.
The promotion includes a range of roast veg favourites from spring carrots to roast potatoes, available from now until Easter Sunday.
