Over on social media, the user exclaimed: "OMFG. Just realised I can search by actor on ."
They added, making light of their 'first problem,' before tipping off others: "When you can't recall a film type in the actor's name!"
If you pop an actor's name into Netflix’s search bar, it will display all of their available works on the service. Testing the hack with Robert Pattinson displayed his 2019 historical flick The King, as well as The Batman and The Devil All the Time, reports .
And that's not all – the results even categorise the star's body of work by genre. Take Viola Davis, for instance; searching her name pulls up 'Emotional Drama Films.'

Not to mention, Brad Pitt fans are treated to a collection spotlighting his 90s classics, including gems like Meet Joe Black and Interview With the Vampire. The search engine also recognises writers and directors' names.
Although this feature is impressive, Netflix is reportedly testing an AI-powered search tool that goes "well beyond genres or actors' names."

Currently, the tool is being tested on iOS devices for some viewers in and New Zealand, with plans to expand to other countries soon.
