Brutal two-word nickname for Prince Andrew leaves LBC host speechless

LBC host Aasmah Mir was left utterly speechless over a caller's brutal two-word nickname for Prince Andrew after the release of Virginia Giuffre's posthumous memoir Nobody's Girl, which made further allegations about the former Duke of York. Now Andrew has dropped his titles, but will for legal reasons remain 'Prince' Andrew.

Furious caller Anthony lost it live on-air as he fumed: "The idea that they can somehow hide him off and exile him or something, a bit like... was it James II? That disappeared abroad? One of them anyway. I think it spells the end of the Royal Family as such, this, because to think that the Windsors sheltered this person in all this pomp and luxury, in this fancy lodge in Windsor? How long can this go on? There's people in this country who haven't even got a home!"

Aasmah then quizzed him: "Does it bother you that he's still called Prince Andrew? I understand there are legal issues involved there, it would take an act of Parliament, etcetera, but should he still be called Prince Andrew, in your opinion?"

Anthony then revealed his brutal moniker for the prince, replying: "No, no, I mean it's a nice name for a dog, Prince, isn't it, but not... not for someone like... If true, and I do caveat that with that, any hint of truth and he is just... I'd call him Prince Andrex and flush him away!"

Listeners couldn't get enough, with one commenting on X: "Flush Prince Andrex."

Someone else said: "The caller's view that one member of the Royal Family's despicable behaviour should bring the monarchy to an end is OTT. It may be the beginning of the end. Who knows? I'm not a royalist but if the majority of the country agrees with him, then it's the end."

Another echoed: "Wow, someone speaking sense."
