On TikTok, one person who goes by the name of @kate_cleanhome, has shared an unusual cleaning hack which could make a huge difference. In the video, she attached a microfibre cloth to a saucepan lid.
She then melts a washing machine cleaning pod in a pan of boiling water to create a cleaning fluid. After this, she dips the microfibre cloth into the solution and begins cleaning her sofa.
The person shows stains on the sofa before the cleaning which appear to be gone after using this method.
Brushing the sofa with the wet microfibre cloth, it begins to look clean and new.
One person in the comments said: "I love this deep clean couch technique".
Another said: "I just tried this and omg when I say my couch smells like clean laundry. I did go over it with a damp cloth after."
