Watch: ICE savages handcuffed protestor carted away in video 'we'll give you a ride'

A contentious video was shared by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on Sunday, showing a protestor being carted away.

"PORTLAND - Refuse to walk? We'll give you a ride", read the caption accompanying the post, which also featured audio from Chamillionaire's 2005 hit 'Ridin'.

The federal agency's post sparked a variety of reactions. The news emerges as police will be ordered to check immigration statuses of everyone they arrest.

One user, @FrankMikeDavis1, commented: "In May, Stephen Miller ordered ICE to arrest NON-CRIMINALS on streets and in workplaces! In the first 2 weeks of June, ICE arrested 927 non-criminals, a 3-fold increase compared to non-criminals arrested in February!"

Many users expressed that this is what they had voted for, although the nationality of the protestor in the video remained unclear, reportsthe Mirror US.

Another user, @BreakingNews4X, queried: "Is he an immigrant? U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement" being used as Federal Police on US citizens seems wrong."

Scores of protestors took to the streets on Sunday, brandishing placards and expressing their opposition as the federal government intensifies its approach towards protests outside the Portland ICE facility.

ICE agents were seen standing on the roof alongside social media influencers with cameras, as ground-level protestors paced back and forth carrying signs urging the Immigration and Customs Enforcement personnel to leave.

Sunday saw a demonstration outside an ICE facility, amidst a legal battle over President Trump's decision to deploy National Guard troops to the city. A federal judge had blocked this move, leading to Trump appealing the ruling and deciding to send 200 California National Guard troops to Portland.

However, KOIN 6 News reported that as of 5:30 p.m. PDT Sunday, no National Guard troops were seen at the facility.

A Trump-appointed federal judge in Oregon issued a second temporary restraining order on Sunday night after the Trump administration attempted to circumvent Saturday's order preventing them from deploying National Guard troops into Portland. Protests have been ongoing in Portland for several weeks outside the ICE facility, opposing the Trump administration's stringent immigration policies.

Despite strong opposition from local leaders, the Trump administration had pledged to deploy national guard troops on federal orders and federal officials to the city. Donald Trump has long promoted an inaccurate narrative that Portland is a "war-ravaged" city with anarchists engaging in chronic chaos.
