Vladimir Putin's leading TV attack dog has threatened death to RAF pilots being sent to protect Poland, a NATO member, from Kremlin provocations. Chief propagandist Vladimir Solovyov falsely told Russians that France may be sending nuclear missiles to Poland with President Emmanuel Macron's deployment of Rafale fighters.
Western warplanes have been sent to protect NATO Poland after Putin encroached the country's airspace with 23 drones last week. "The British want to die, so they also want [like the French] to take a walk over the skies of Poland," he told viewers. "RAF fighters will patrol the skies over Poland as part of NATO's Eastern Sentry mission.....
"Typhoons will begin flying here in the coming days. Don't run into the [French] Rafale [fighters]. Lord, where are we going to bury you all?"
Stirring up fear over the Western deployment, he said: "The French Rafale fighters deployed to Poland are capable of carrying nuclear weapons."
He admitted they "arrived without nuclear weapons, at least that is what the photographs indicate" but claimed they "can be delivered at any time".
Solovyov said: "Well, Paris, wait for the nuclear dawn. This is a serious escalation. We must consider these planes, each of their takeoffs for us is the beginning of a nuclear war."
The threats from Kremlin-controlled TV came after Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov said yesterday it was clear the West was at war with Moscow.
"NATO is at war with Russia," he said. "This is obvious and requires no further proof... NATO is de facto involved in this war."
