Lakeland has kicked off its Spring Savings Event, offering discounts on a variety of cleaning, laundry, and homeware gadgets. Customers can enjoy deals on Lakeland's own products as well as select items from popular brands such as G-Tech.
For those preparing for an extensive spring clean, Lakeland's top-selling is a hot pick. Originally priced at £59.99, it's currently reduced to £47.99.
This convenient electric set includes four different brushes designed for tackling various areas such as toilets, basins, and shower screens, and features a non-slip handle to make scrubbing easier. The kit boasts a solid four-star rating based on 35 reviews.
A customer commented: "I absolutely love this kit. I have lower back problems so cleaning the awkward corners and the tiles was painful for me. I received this kit three days ago and my bathroom is transformed. Very light, very easy to swap the heads over and to extend or not as needed."
They added: "I deep-cleaned my whole bathroom easily on one charge. Next step, the kitchen! I have tried cheaper kits from elsewhere but one was almost impossible to charge and the other fell apart on first use. This was well worth the money and I would happily recommend,"
Another customer expressed disappointment: "I was very excited to see this product and thought that I would no longer have to go down on hands and knees to clean around the edge of the shower basin. However, it does not do the job. I have tried all the brushes, but they do not remove the stubborn dirty rim on the side of the basin, and I still have to result in a good hand scrub."
Elsewhere on the high street, those in need of a new vacuum cleaner can snag a bargain at Currys, where the is currently discounted by £120, and is on offer for £169, was £289. The device boasts Hair Wrap Resist technology, preventing hairs of all lengths from entangling around the brush roll.
Another standout deal in the Lakeland sale is a discount on a versatile floor cleaner. The , which cleans, polishes and scrubs hard floors, is now available for £209.99, reduced from £229.99.
This cordless gadget features a rechargeable battery and comes with six machine-washable microfiber pads that attach to the mop head.

One shopper left a review, reading: "I purchased this to replace a steam cleaner, and so far it has lived up to my expectations. I thought my floors were fairly clean until I used the PowerGlide for the first time!
"It's easy and light to use, although a bit of a faff to fill the water tank, hence the 4 stars, but a small funnel has solved the problem, and with no cable to get in the way, you can move from room to room easily. Would definitely recommend."
On the Lakeland website, the gadget doesn't have any negative reviews, but over at (sale price of £230), one customer expressed dissatisfaction with its battery life: "I am always having to charge it. The charge doesn't last that long I would have taken it back but I have used it a few times and got rid of the box."
Meanwhile, Gtech's is now being offered with a £35 markdown - initially priced at £349.99, it's currently going for £314.99. This cordless vacuum cleaner is not only lightweight but also boasts the ability to collect pet hairs and even fine dust particulars
A customer said: "This vacuum cleaner has surpassed all of my expectations. It is equal to my corded Dyson in efficiency but it is much lighter and much less hassle to use. The battery lasts long enough for me to go around the house, and when it needs to be charged, it does it quickly. I wish I had bought it sooner. Well done Gtech."
However, another purchaser noted: "Nice and light. Picks dirt up well, easy to empty but there is some debris left between the brush and hopper that needs picking up. The main issue is with the fragrance cartridges.
"If you're going to have them, you should make it a nice natural fragrance, I don't want to use ones that come with a health warning to say it's got toxic chemicals in it. You can use without the fragrance which is just as well."
Elsewhere, Amazon is selling a budget-friendly floor steamer. The Russell Hobbs is £34, was £39.99. It has a quick 25-second heat-up time and is great for chemical-free cleaning. It has a 25 minute steam time.
