Actor Dhairya Karwa, known for his roles in films like 'Gehraiyaan' and '83', has tied the knot in a hush-hush wedding held in the royal city of Jaipur. The news has been circulating through a viral photo, which show him and his bride posing elegantly for the cameras. The intimate wedding, attended by close family and friends, was a traditional affair with both Dhairya and his bride dressed in attire that reflected their cultural heritage.
Paparazzi page Viral Bhaiyani shared this picture on Instagram confirming Dhairya’s wedding, although the actor has not yet posted any pictures from the ceremony. The image shows Dhairya dressed in an elegant ivory sherwani, while his bride looks regal in a classic red lehenga. The two posed together for the camera, radiating happiness and grace.
Bride keeps it simple yet stunning
Although very little is known about Dhairya’s wife, she wore a red lehenga with simple motif work, paired with a red veil that gave her a traditional touch. Her jewellery was minimal yet graceful—featuring a golden necklace, maang teeka, matha patti and a passa. The couple’s wedding seemed to follow a traditional Rajput-style setup, hinted by Dhairya’s turban with white polka dots, which matched his bride’s outfit beautifully.
Dhairya Karwa on the work front
Dhairya began his acting journey with the 2019 war drama 'Uri: The Surgical Strike', where he played Captain Sartaj Singh Chandhok. He later portrayed cricketer Ravi Shastri in '83', which starred Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone. But it was his role in 'Gehraiyaan', where he starred alongside Deepika Padukone, that brought him into the spotlight. Most recently, he played a police officer in the mystery thriller series 'Gyaarah Gyaarah'.
Smitten by Deepika’s charm
During a past interview with ETimes, Dhairya opened up about his experience working with Deepika and filmmaker Karan Johar while shooting 'Gehraiyaan'. He shared, "His words were very reassuring and comforting. As for Deepika, I was just smitten by her. She is everything you would expect her to be and more. We know of her as this humongous star and a fabulous actor, yet she’s so simple and warm."
