As Nick Jonas steps onto the grand stage for his first-ever Broadway lead in 'The Last Five Years,' it’s not just his fans cheering him on—it’s his adorable daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, who’s giving him all the love.
A sweet surprise from Nick’s cutest fan
Nick Jonas took to Instagram Stories to share the most touching send-off before his big opening night on 6 April 2025. His daughter, Malti, made him a handmade good luck poster that had fans collectively saying “aww!”
The poster was decorated with sweet scribbles and stars and words like “congrats,” “Broadway,” and the too-cute “New York” stickers. Alongside a face-holding-back-tears emoji, Nick wrote, “What a way to kick off opening day. Thank you, MM. @TheLastFiveYears.”
And it gets even better.
‘Goodbye, Prince Charming.’
Nick also posted a short video about his daughter’s delightful send-off moment. “Okay, so I’m all dressed and ready. I was walking out the door, and my daughter in her Tinkerbell dress looked at me and said, ‘Oh wow. Goodbye, Prince Charming. Break a leg.’ So I’m cooked,” he shared, clearly emotional. He added the caption, “Opening night (face holding back tears emoji) @thelastfiveyears.” It’s safe to say little Malti completely stole the show before it even began.
Priyanka Chopra shows her love on the red carpet
Nick wasn’t alone on his special night. His wife, actor and global star Priyanka Chopra, was right by his side in NYC. The couple posed for photos at the premiere, serving some serious style goals. PeeCee wowed in a sleek black dress with elegant heels, while Nick kept it cool in a white tee under a striped black blazer and matching trousers. The two shared loving glances and smiles as cameras clicked away.
Priyanka had earlier supported Nick during a preview of the show in March and shared praise for it online, proving to be his biggest cheerleader.
