In response, a source close to Paresh Rawal strongly denied the allegations, calling it unfair and laughable to call the seasoned actor as 'unprofessional'.

As per an IANS report, the source clarified that the actual shooting of the film had not yet begun, and only a promo shoot had taken place. They stressed that Rawal exited well before principal photography started and said that the idea of him 'walked out' is 'worst theatrical imagination at best'.
The source also said, "Paresh Rawal is someone who has built his career one role at a time—not on headlines, but on honesty, discipline, and sheer craft. He doesn't need the noise, and certainly doesn't thrive on it."

Earlier, Paresh Rawal himself addressed the situation on social media, firmly stating that his departure was not due to any creative differences with director Priyadarshan. He expressed his respect and faith in the filmmaker as he wrote, "I wish to put it on record that my decision to step away from Hera Pheri 3 was not due to creative differences. I reiterate that there are no creative disagreements with the filmmaker. I hold immense love, respect, and faith in Mr. Priyadarshan the film director."
The film, directed by Priyadarshan and starring Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Rawal himself, has been eagerly awaited by fans of the franchise.
Lawsuit filed against Paresh Rawal
Akshay Kumar's production company, Cape of Good Films, sent a legal notice to Paresh Rawal demanding Rs 25 crore in damages. The production house alleged that Rawal's exit was abrupt and unprofessional, accusing him of 'abandoning and sabotaging' the project. According to the producers, Rawal had accepted a signing amount of Rs 11 lakh and participated in initial shoots, including a teaser and about three and a half minutes of footage for the film. They also stated that no complaints were raised by Rawal during this period. The production house claimed that Rawal’s withdrawal caused significant financial loss and disrupted the film's schedule.
