Sunny Deol is now gearing up for the release of his film 'Jaat' which also stars Randeep Hooda and Vineet Singh. The actor launched the trailer of the film in Mumbai and then recently also launched it at an event in Delhi. Sunny is known for his action hero image on screen but off-screen he's quite a soft person at heart. That's evident in the way he almost gets emotional every time he talks about his father Dharmendra or sometimes brother Bobby Deol.
During the trailer launch of 'Jaat' in Delhi, Sunny was asked about the valueable lessons he's learnt from his father Dharmendra. The actor said, “Whatever I am today, I have only learnt from my dad. I have always lived with him. He is my only hero. Moreover, I don’t think there is a better actor than him who has played such a variety of characters.”
Sunny also revealed how ups and downs are a part of an actor's life and that's how his father has also been and taught him to be. He said, “Ups and downs toh hote rehte hain. It happens so many times. I have seen it happening with my dad. Mere saath bhi hua hai. Aadmi vo hota hai jo zyada soche na iske baare mein, tabhi vo aage badhta hai. Tabhi ups and downs ke baad fir se up hota hai, nahi toh down hi down rehta hai. (A person shouldn’t think about ups and downs a lot, only then he can move forward),” he said.
After 'Jaat', Sunny will be seen next in 'Lahore 1947' directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, produced by Aamir Khan. In an interview recently, Sunny has said that the film is taking time as Aamir wants everything to be perfect in it.
