Are Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce attending Coachella 2025 amid the ongoing Kanye West controversy

With Coachella 2025 kicking off under the California sun, fans are buzzing with speculation over whether one of pop culture’s favorite power couples—Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce—will make a surprise appearance at the iconic music festival this year. Their chemistry and shared love for music were on full display at Coachella 2024, where they supported Jack Antonoff ’s Bleachers and rapper Ice Spice , creating unforgettable memories and viral moments.

Fans are hoping for a repeat of last year’s magical Coachella appearance
April 13, 2024, was a night to remember for Swifties and NFL fans alike. Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were photographed dancing, kissing, and holding hands, proving that their love story was more than just a media frenzy. Their attendance made headlines and brought a new level of star power to the festival. This year, however, things appear quieter.

According to reports, the couple has been keeping a low profile since Swift wrapped her record-breaking Eras Tour in December 2024 and Kelce’s NFL season concluded with the Super Bowl in February. A source told Page Six, “A lot of their time is spent at home just relaxing. Despite their fame, they’re really just like any other couple… They like to cuddle on the couch and watch movies, play board games, spend time with family, cook dinner together and just hang out.”

Why a 2025 Coachella appearance might not be in the cards
Given the couple's desire to enjoy some downtime away from the spotlight, a Coachella appearance this year seems unlikely. The insider added that this quiet phase has been “such a nice escape for them to finally be able to stay out of the limelight for a bit.”

With Kelce expected to return to NFL training camp in the summer and Swift likely resuming her career commitments soon, they’re cherishing what little free time they have together. “Travis will be heading to training camp later this summer and Taylor will eventually need to head back to work, so this is a sliver of time they have all to themselves,” the source revealed.

There’s still a flicker of hope for fans. Post Malone—who features on Swift’s new single “Fortnight”—is scheduled to perform at Coachella. While the two artists have yet to perform the song live together, a surprise stage moment isn’t entirely off the table. Until then, fans will be watching closely, hoping the desert lights lure the duo back to the festival stage.
