GURDASPUR: Self-styled Christian pastor Jashan Gill , accused of inappropriate conduct with a 22-year-old woman, has surrendered before police, SSP Aditya said Wednesday.
Gill was produced before a court & remanded in police custody for five days, the SSP said.
In the recent past, police had arrested Gill's brother and sister from Jammu and Mohali , respectively, for allegedly sheltering him. The case against Gill was initially registered in July 2023. He was later declared a proclaimed offender by the court in Sept 2024 after he failed to appear in court, SSP Aditya added. TNN
