Prem Chopra, Anil Sharma arrive at the late actor Manoj Kumar's Juhu residence

Legendary actor Manoj Kumar , known for his iconic films and patriotic roles, passed away at the age of 87 in the early hours of Friday. His passing has deeply saddened the film industry and his countless fans.

As the news broke, several Bollywood celebrities visited his residence to pay their final respects, including veteran stars Dharmendra , Raveena Tandon and now Prem Chopra , and filmmaker Anil Sharma too.

Prem Chopra, who shared the screen with Manoj Kumar in several memorable films like 'Purab Aur Paschim', 'Upkar', 'Kranti', 'Shaheed', and 'Woh Kaun Thi?,' was also seen arriving at the late actor’s Juhu residence to pay his respects.

Renowned filmmaker Anil Sharma, best known for directing 'Gadar', also visited Manoj Kumar’s home to offer his condolences.

Dharmendra and his bond with the late actor
Manoj Kumar and Dharmendra shared a deep and enduring friendship that spanned decades, both on and off-screen. The two legendary actors starred together in several memorable films, including 'Shaadi' (1962), which highlighted their strong bond and mutual admiration.

Dharmendra, who visited Kumar’s residence on Friday to pay his respects, spoke fondly of their time together. “We have many memories together. We spent our earlier days in the film industry together,”

Last rites
Manoj Kumar’s son, Kunal Goswami , confirmed that the veteran actor’s last rites will be held on Saturday, April 5, at 11 AM at Pawan Hans crematorium, located opposite Nanavati Hospital in Vile Parle, Mumbai.

Kunal shared that his father had been unwell for some time but battled his health issues with immense courage and dignity. “He peacefully breathed his last by God’s grace and Sai Baba’s blessings,” he said, while also expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his heartfelt tribute to the legendary actor.
